HMG and the Environment
The company has long been environmentally conscious, regarding the application of its products and the care of its own site, and offers a full range of products that are compliant with current EU directives, including the latest water-based formulations. It has gained the British Coating Federation’s Coatings Care Award, for site improvements in health, safety and the environment, and is a Sony Green Partner in that company’s environmental quality approval programme. For landscaping and environmental work at its riverside site, HMG has been recognised with Northwest Business Environment, Granada Waterwatch and Environmental Education awards and is linked to the Red Rose urban woodland project.
